OOC Rules

► Respect is absolutely demanded. Prejudice, bigotry, or hate of any kind is not allowed in this pack. We aim to maintain a friendly and welcoming community, which means that we accept everyone, regardless of race, sexuality or beliefs.

▷ The consequence(s) for breaking this rule will depend entirely on the severity of the offense. If there is no evidence showing that the offender was intentionally misbehaving, then everyone will likely just get a warning to calm down. The worst punishment that can be received is the complete removal of all parties involved. That's a fancy way of saying that the offender(s) will be booted from the roleplay entirely.

⧩ Who do you contact if you have witnessed someone break this rule?

◮ If you would like to report the offender(s), please relay your concerns directly to Psychobabble. Please keep in mind that unless you supply proof(Screenshots are your best friends in this situation) there is little I can do unless I have personally witnessed the act.


► Please do not create excessive drama within the group. This is a mature roleplay and there is no tolerance for childishness. Attention seekers and drama queens are only viewed as a nuisance. On top of that, we ask that you let sleeping dogs lie. Do not target a fellow member simply because they were your rivals in another pack/refused to become your mate/left your group/or any other insignificant events.

▷ Usually staff will serve the offender(s) with a stern warning and consider the case closed. However, if the rulebreaker retaliates/repeats the offense/blatantly disrespects the staff/other members/etc, then further action will be taken. There is a looming possibility of the perpetrator being kicked if they decide to be a brat.

⧩ Who do you contact if you have witnessed someone break this rule?

◮ If you would like to report someone(or multiple people) who have broken this rule, please PM either the beta or myself, Psychobabble. If you decide to contact the beta, they will inform me of the report if they feel it demands a bit more attention.

► While foul language is allowed, we ask that you do not use the following swears: GD(Goshdarn is fine), MF(Any appropriate replacements are okay). On top of that, do not drop the F-bomb excessively and try to swear as little as possible. Do not abuse this privilege.

▷ The offender(s) will receive a warning and staff will be ordered to keep a close eye on their behavior afterwards to ensure they don't repeat their actions. If they ignore the warning, they will likely be kicked- there is no excuse for breaking this rule other than intentionally trying to be difficult.

⦿ More rules will likely be added in the future. We feel that respect, privacy and a drama-free environment are responsibly utilized, and the rest should just be common sense(and common courtesy).

IC Rules

► Be realistic. For example, your tiny runt character is not going to be capable of taking down a large prey animal more than twice their size on their own.

► Forbidden romance is allowed. However, please inform both Psychobabble and the leader of the other pack before initiating anything- A plot idea for the couple would also be appreciated.

► Please try not to post cut. We understand that accidents happen, but try to do it as little as possible. Increase your chatbox size if you must.

► Mating is to be done in whisper.

► While there is no limit on how soon you can find/create a family, please have everything in order before delving into pregnancy. Ensure that your offspring will be active and literate members of our pack, and remember that we would enjoy it if they were whelps for atleast a day or two. For more questions regarding the aging system, contact Psychobabble either on the site or in-game via whisper. Keep in mind that we are pretty easy-going on the topic of aging, so long as your requests are reasonable.

Pack Info

► The info contained within this tab is to help you better understand what we're all about and what we allow(and don't allow).

► We are:

▷ Canidae
This means that we only allow canine based creatures. This includes things such as foxes, wolves, and even dogs or dog/wolf hybrids. Hyenas are also allowed, even though they are technically neither canine or feline. Although it is classified as unrealistic, your character may be a fox/wolf hybrid/etc. Just be reasonable. And, obviously, no felines(or custom species).

▷ Mapless
This means we do not have a private nor public map that we reside/roleplay in. This will never change, as mapped packs tend to fail quickly and are usually more of a hassle.

▷ Mature
Gore/sexual themes/overall graphic content are allowed. While there are limits, if even subtle displays of these things bother you, then I don't think joining PB is a good idea.

▷ Semi Realistic/Realistic
This means that we try to match the behavior of actual wolves while still allowing some room to be creative and original.

▷ Literate
To put it simply, we use(and expect) proper grammar and spelling. Text talk is a big no no(things like brb, ty, etc are allowed in OOC chat). If you are unsure of how something is spelled, just wing it. Feel free to ask your fellow packmates if you are unsure. While roleplaying, please try to type more than two sentences.

▷ Neutral/Malevolent Morality
Our actions and pack mentality range from neither good or bad to downright awful. Kind/caring characters are still very much allowed, but they might not approve of certain things we do.

▷ Active and Long-term
This means we are dedicated to keeping the roleplay alive and well for as long as we can. We do not plan on letting this roleplay wither away anytime soon, so, committed roleplayers may rejoice!

▷ Optional tags
This just means that we do not require you to tag your name- unless you want to, of course. The staff here at PB believe that tags have the potential of ruining a good name and I find it annoying to go through the whole process. Instead, we ask that you put in your FeralHeart bio that you are affiliated with us and include your rank.


► What we allow:

▷ The use of items. Our only request is that you don't go too crazy- while we allow things like cigarettes, twigs, and even chains/spiked collars/bracelets please do not walk around wearing glowsticks or flashing glasses.

▷ Presets! In fact, they are recommended.

▷ Neon ONLY in the eyes. Unnatural colors are allowed in manes, so long as they aren't incredibly bright.

▷ Runt-sized females and giant males. I know some packs are finicky about character height but it personally doesn't bother me. If you want your female to be the size of an older pup/adolescent, we won't complain- just understand that your character will experience hindrances during RP at this size. Same goes to large males.

▷ Leaving the territory. We ask that you be courteous and take part in any important RP's taking place but if there isn't anything going on, we won't get mad if you decide to visit a friend/do whatever it is that you want to do. This applies more to OOC than it does IC, but I doubt there will be much of a difference. Also, keep in mind that you are not allowed to bother other packs. Roleplaying with them is absolutely fine- but annoying them is a different story. I do not want others associating bad behavior with our community.

▷ Intricate markings/pelt colors. Please try to keep the unnatural colors as dark as possible- same goes for the markings. Sparkle dogs are not allowed(and never will be), but we won't turn away your creativity. if you're confused, here is a good example: A wolf with a dark red pelt, stripes/stitches/etc markings, with the markings being white/black in color, with a dark blue/dark red mane. Ask if you find yourself confused or unsure of something.

► What we don't allow:

▷ Bright colors. As stated before, no sparkle dogs.

▷ Unrealistic items(fedora/glowsticks/bells).

▷ Mate begging. You'll have to work for love, just like everyone else.

▷ Rank begging. It's annoying and will only forbid you from ever getting the desired rank you want.

▷ Attention begging. It isn't tolerated in any way shape or form.


► Extras

▷ You are allowed a maximum of two characters. This is a personal decision- make sure you are capable of roleplaying both of them efficiently and actively.
